Here are a couple of things I want you to remember.
Navigating the healing path through chronic illness isn't easy.
You need to be...
Relentlessly resilience to the ups and downs, yet be able to surrender and allow things to flow.
Consciously aware when to keep trying and keep exploring, and when to let it be, accept and truly embrace where you are in this moment.
Disciplined and consistently committed to yourself and your needs, whilst building the capacity to be flexible and embrace life's rhythms.
Focused on your healing and learning, but simultaneously making space for focus and excitement outside of yourself.
Deeply compassionate to yourself in each and every moment, whilst remaining empowered to move forward.
Learning how to stretch your nervous system, without pushing it too much.
Boundaried with people and environments, whilst opening yourself to others in a way that enables you to be seen and heard.
Pause and give yourself self-compassion. This is really nothing more than letting you hear that I know doing all that is not easy. It's hard work and at times - it can feel like you're constantly navigating some inner conflict that no one else has to. It's like the invisible full time job. I'd love to encourage you to pause for a moment to acknowledge everything you do and navigate every day and how incredible that is. How amazing you are for having the courage and the openness to explore and feel it all. How does that feel to do that?
Remember this journey will serve you. I like to think of this journey as the ultimate bootcamp in connecting with your intuition and really tuning into your nervous system and it's nuanced needs.
Wherever you are on that path, just know that's you're doing an epic job - and although it doesn't always feel like it, it's going to serve you for the rest of your life!
